Terms for Upgrading Your Own Website
If you’re comfortable handling WordPress upgrades—including all related plugins and themes—you are welcome to do so. We ask that all upgrades are performed regularly; otherwise, we may need to temporarily suspend your account to prevent potential compromises to other client sites hosted on our server.
If you encounter errors during the upgrade process and require our assistance, our services will be billed at our standard hourly rate. We strongly recommend that you:
- Create a full backup of your website before performing any upgrades
- Have the knowledge to restore your website if necessary
If you’re not comfortable managing these upgrades yourself, we highly encourage you to take advantage of our new annual maintenance plan to ensure your website remains secure and up-to-date.
